I have been working on my Demo Reel. Cutting it myself in Final Cut.  I haven't done much video editing until now so it was fun to learn.  This reel is work from 2010 and 2011.

Bugs Flying Through My SoundCloud

I wanted to try out my new SoundCloud account, and by chance I found these short files I recorded somewhat by accident.  I was recording very late one night trying to get a Quad recording of the crickets and frogs that live close by my house.  I nearly jumped out of my skin, as what I assume is a moth flew right past one of my mics sounding quite loud in the headphones.  I don't think I wound up using any of the rest of that recording, but these were a kind of happy accident.

Happy Holidays

Last night was Xmas Eve, and I volunteered to run the sound for the church.  It was a long day, four services running from 4pm to midnight.  I had a nice time and an excellent dinner at the church between services.  This was the first time I have worked with the sound system at the church and I will probably be doing an overhaul sometime in the near future.  Just some basic stuff,  the wiring needs to be cleaned up and some inputs need relabeling.
